We strive to make the best choices. We care about the food that goes into our bodies, and we know more about nutrition than ever before. Yet, life gets busy, and we fall short. It happens to everyone. It happened to us.
Eating well - the thing that is perhaps the most important thing we can do for ourselves - becomes another inconvenient chore. It shouldn’t be hard, but it is.
That’s why the Good Kitchen was started, to help people’s intentions match their busy realities.
We were brought in by our friend and Creative Director, Kara Hollinger, and marketing agency, The Plaid Penguin, to oversee full production of a brand video for their client, The Good Kitchen.
The Good Kitchen is a fully-prepared, healthy meal delivery company that's committed to changing the way people think about food. From the farms to your plate, they essentially take care of all the legwork around healthy meal planning by providing fresh, organic, sustainably-sourced meals without comprise. Farm to table, in 4 minutes? We are IN.
When it came time to craft a brand story for this project, the main differentiator the Good Kitchen team is involved in every aspect of the journey of their ingredients, so we wanted to make sure this was a win theme that weaved throughout their brand video.
Production took place over (2) shoot days on-location in Charlotte, NC and consisted of filming at one of their local purveyor's farms, the Good Kitchen's test kitchen, and a home residence.
This project was a special one for our team and it gave us a new appreciation for taking the time to understand where our food comes from and what we choose to put in our bodies.
