When you think of grandma and grandpa, what comes to mind? Wisdom? Love? Resilience? Quilts? Flatware? Badassery? If you thought of any one of these, you're right. If you thought of all of them, your grandma taught you well. If there's one thing we all know about grandparents, it's that fall they may, break they might, but no one keeps them down.
Balance of Nature is doing their part to keep grandparents everywhere a little witty, a touch sassy, and still kicking butt and taking names. There's a lot of fun that can be had in a day, and no one knows this better than those who've been doing it for decades.
For most children, "eat your fruits and vegetables" is about as gross of a phrase that language can muster. As an adult, though, it unsuspectingly becomes a mantra. With age comes wisdom, sure; but with that wisdom also comes vitamins, proteins, antioxidants, and fiber.
