RC is a Cinematographer, Photographer, Editor, and what we like to call our “sous chef of digital tastiness”.  

Born and bred in Aspen, Colorado, RC had an interest in photography from a young age, capturing photos on the family 35mm camera. He continued to develop his interest in creative imagery after graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Business degree, but it wasn’t until he was living in the French Alps and got his hands on his first video camera (a sweet DV tape model, oh la la!) that he fell in love with the art of storytelling. He put down his croissant, phoned his brother, Geoff, and asked if he wanted to start a video production company together.  Geoff did. So RC relocated to join his bro in Charlotte, NC in 2011 and the duo launched La Storia Productions that same year.  

Today, RC oversees all creative for La Storia Productions. And works as a freelance DP for clients including The Discovery Channel, Volvo and numerous National agencies and production companies. To see some of his other work, check out his DP reel. 

In his free time, he enjoys hiking, skiing, woodworking, mountain biking, and spending time with his wife, son, and their pup.
